“Rockybrook March” is an introductory march style song for the 2nd year player. The ranges and rhythms are at grade level and the length is within the ability of the player. There are many styles of music, the “March” being one of the most important. It is vital to get instrumental students started at playing Marches as early as possible. “Rockybrook March” is one such march that get the children moving in the right direction at the proper age. A catchy melody with articulation changes will also help to accomplish this goal.
